Established in 1962, Rawal Lake in Pakistan is an artificial pond that contributes the water requirements for cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Korang River accompanying with some other small streams comes out of Margalla Hills. These streams have set out to make this an artificial lake which covers about 8.8 km2 areas.
This reservoir offers variety of sports activities like boating, rowing, sailing and fishing etc. Some of them are as follow:

Miracles of Kaghan Valley - Must Visit

Kaghan valley is a location of beautiful scenic sights. Kaghan is a gem among the many wonderful valleys in the Mansehra District of Hazara, Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa province. The valley expands 160 km, rising from an altitude of 2,134 feet to Babusar pass, is elevated point, 13,690 feet.

Khunjerab National Park - A Place full of Wildlife

Khunjerab Park is located in the northern areas of Pakistan. It is one of the highest elevation parks throughout the world covering about 2,270 square kilometer. It is the 3rd National Park of Pakistan and is adjoint to Taxkorgan Natural Reservae in China.
Half of the park is above the 4,000 meters. Khunjerab Park is at 4,934 meters which is the entrance towards the China through Karakoram Highway. It contains three beautiful valleys; Ghujerab, Shmishal and Khunjerab valley. The place also involves the world’s gigantic border crossroads at 4,700 meters.

RaniKot - A Great Wall of Sindh

The man behind the “Karachi Walla” and “Overheard in Karachi”, Farooq Somro heads out to search the wonders and mysteries of Pakistan about which many would like to know the answers to. One of the most mysterious places of Pakistan, “Ranikot Fort” is claimed to be the largest fort in the world.

Hingol National Park of Balochistan

The Baluchistan is the one of the largest province of Pakistan with a land of 347056 square kilometer while covering about 40% of the country’s majority land. The province tracks its history from ancient immemorial period. It had done trade and commerce with old civilization of Babylon via Iran and inside the valleys of Euphrates and Tigris before the birth of Christ. The Great Alexander also had a conflict with the Baluchistan’s Serbia Tribe.

Pakistan has an unsung beauty hidden far in the lands where clouds dance with the mountain peaks and pearl like glaciers rest in the valley`s lap.
