Bhitt Shah - A City of Shah Latif

The best time to visit the shrine of the famous mystic Sufi and poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai (1689-1752) is during his Urs which is held during the Islamic month of Saffar. In 2014 his Urs was held in the month of December.
The shrine is overflowing with followers during the Urs so much that there would be hardly any space to do something. If one needs to be absorbed fully into the spiritual energy of the place so it is better to visit it during normal days. And that is how I decided to go to Bhit Shah in January.

A Railway Station Awaits for Train Since 1991

There are many Railway Stations in Pakistan, which are not functional today. Sakrand a city in Sindh Province says something similar.

Sakrand: Last train crossed through this Railway Station was 24 years ago, but the building still is good to be used for gathering purposes for locals. Time impact on the structure must be set, but it can still feel the glory of this Railway Station as compared to other Railway Buildings across the Subcontinent. It sets a cornerstone in the history of Railway Buildings. These railway lines aroused our memories with emotions linked to the history.

While travelling from Karachi to Nawabshah, I decided to stay for some time at Sakrand. Mounting towards Sakrand, street walls brought my attention that all walls were filled with telecom packages advertisements.
